We are required by our banking partner to collect information about our customers. This is called a Customer Information Program (CIP). In order to move money with Braid or use the Braid Card, you may be asked to provide:

  • Your date of birth

  • Your zip code

  • The last four digits of your SSN

  • Your full mailing address

We verify your identity through a database partner. Sometimes we will not be able to verify your identity because your name or address has recently changed, or for other reasons. If we are unable to verify your identity we may ask you for additional information. You are always welcome to email hello@braid.co for help creating an account.
